ARE YOU MORE INTO LOOKS OR BRAINS? . I’ve gone through some seriously worrisome phases regarding the type of people I’ve kept in my company, especially as boyfriends(sorry mom and dad!😬🤷🏽‍♀️), and although I’m sure I’ll continue to evolve those whom I collect along my route, I’m confident that I’m headed in a better direction in building my tribe, than in the past… That said, my answer to the question above is: I’d say that I’m attracted to brains over looks now-a-days, however, I think it important to mention that visual first-impressions still play a valuable role in who I gravitate to. With the direction my interests are going these days, I’m making a real attempt to see all people I come across as “god in drag”, but in all honesty, even when I’m feeling fairly conscious in this area, an extremely grouchy face, closed body language, or a disheveled and/or inebriated person can still be off-putting. So, it turns out, “looks” do play a role in who I’m willing to engage with. …And if I’m really REALLY being honest with you, I do find myself ogling men with particularly masculine features(defined jawlines, strong bodies, confident smiles, etc.) around my ovulation each month, which is a fantastic sign that my sex hormones are healthy and surging. 🧐🤪🙋🏽‍♀️There’s no shame in my game. …Of course, as I’m sure many of you know, even if there isn’t an initial spark of visual attraction to somebody you meet, the way you “see” them can often change as you get to know their personality. The people in my life now, whom I’d consider the sexiest or most attractive, are those who’ve made me feel seen and heard, and who’ve opened themselves up to me and allowed me to see them clearly as well. This way of being vulnerable with others doesn’t come easily, and perhaps this is why that type of bravery is what I’m most excited by in others! 😍🥰👁 . So what’s your answer? . 📸 @lucasnoonan 💯 #KeepItREALish edits: increased vibrancy, removed neck lines

WHAT’S THE GREATEST STRUGGLE YOU’VE OVERCOME? I’d love for you to write out one or more in the comments below. . So far, mine are: learning to recognize and manage my anxiety/panic/depression, healing my gut issues/microbiome & hormone health, the uprooting and turbulence in my early childhood that came as a result of my parents divorce, and letting go of people/jobs/things in my life that are no longer serving me. . What are yours? 👂🏼 Let whatever your answer to this question is be a guidepost of reassurance that you’ve faced hard things in your life, and feel comforted by knowing that your previous experience has served to make you stronger and wiser, so that when your next obstacle arises you’ll be able to move through it with more ease, grace, and love. It grounds me to find ways like this to be grateful for all the hardships of my past, and remember that those moments are amongst the many domestications that make me ME. 👁 . P.S. If you wanna get really “woo woo” wit it, you’re welcome to borrow this mantra: “I face change with ease, grace, and love.” (Side note: This was the mantra given to Jade on episode #14 of @themajichour podcast, if you care to listen.)🔮 . 💯 #KeepItREALish edits: If you watch closely you can see how I changed this white Booty to a tan one using photoshop. No other edits were made.

If you’ve been following me a while, then you probably already know, I love mantras!… I like them because using them correctly is such a great tool for reprogramming your neural-pathways and adjusting old patterns in your brain and body. And if you listen to my podcast, @themajichour , you know I’m all about uncovering and rewriting our old patterns so that they are working for us instead of against us. I’m SOOO passionate about this because I’ve seen it work miracles in my own life. If you’re reading this, lemme’ just say it now: “Darling, I care about your suffering.” But all I can do is CARE. It’s up to YOU to actually make the changes in yourself that will break you out of your old patterns and transform your life in ways you can only dream of. . …So, with that said, I’ll give you the mantra I tout often on the podcast: “SEEK THE PAIN FOR POSITIVE GAIN”. Now, I know it may sound slightly aggressive, but sometimes that’s exactly what we need in order to push past an old background script we may have been running in our subconscious for the better part of our lives. This is the breakdown of this mantra: “Seek the Pain”, meaning, when you come up against something uncomfortable for you, instead of pushing it to the side or finding some way to not have to deal with it, ask yourself to look for the pain points, feel your feelings, and determine what the core issue is that’s triggering your discomfort. And once you can determine that, you ask yourself to take the first step in working through it instead of running away from it. Then as you inch your way through these pain points you’ll come to see that the “positive gain” waiting for you on the other side is always worth the work. In doing this, you’ll also be gaining faith in yourself by creating confidence in your ability to conquer your fears and discomfort; That’s where the real magic begins, because as you realize that you always had it in you to move through the pains of life with ease and grace, the future becomes increasingly more exciting and expansive. And the immense growth you’ll attain from moving through these hard places will come rapidly and naturally… -Caption continued in comments section.
